Optus Outage Blamed For Deaths After Triple Zero Calls Fail Across Multiple States | 10 News

There is fury at Optus, after the telco admitted a botched upgrade yesterday led to the failure of hundreds of triple zero calls across two states and the Northern Territory.

Sadly 3 people, 2 in South Australia and one in WA, who tried to call emergency services died during the outage.

And while isn’t the first time Optus has made a catastrophic error, none, until now, have turned deadly.
