Perth’s Town of Cambridge is installing 10 shark bite emergency kits along popular beaches at a cost of $10,000. The kits contain tourniquets, bandages, emergency blankets and instructions, designed to provide critical first aid in the minutes following a shark attack. The initiative follows recent shark attack incidents, including cases where emergency equipment proved life-saving for victims like Leah Stewart.
