Andy Burnham sets out his vision to expand power to regions with new “No 10 North” at the centre of a “rewired Britain” if he becomes the next prime minister.
“Westminster hasn’t been working for a very long time. In fact, it is broken,” Mr Burnham said.
“We’ll bring about the biggest rebalancing of power our country has seen.
“This is Manchesterism. It is a vision for good growth and a rejection of the old trickle-down model.”
