It’s also the biggest piece of mars on our planet and was recently sold to an anonymous buyer for $US4.3 million at a Sotheby’s auction in New York. It’s unclear if Niger got a single dime from this but its government wants to know how it got there, alleging its sale is comparable to illicit international trafficking.
