Russia has unveiled a new 450-km/h interceptor as Ukraine pushes its long-range drone campaign deeper into Russian territory. According to Sputnik, the Krechet is Moscow’s fastest fixed-wing anti-drone interceptor and can pursue enemy UAVs using two electric motors. It can reportedly destroy targets with an explosive warhead or simply use its speed and mass to ram them. Crucially, Krechet is more than twice as fast as Ukraine’s Lyutyi attack drone, which can reach around 200 km/h.
