According to reports, Russia is now purchasing petrol from India. At least two tankers with 60,000 metric tonnes of fuel are already on their way from India to Russia. Moscow’s purchase of refined crude comes as the country faces a fuel shortage. In recent months, Ukrainian drones have struck 24 of 33 Russian oil refineries, impacting the country’s supply of petrol and diesel. Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted this and has introduced a ban on export of fuel.
