Snow spotted in Qld and NSW, as wet weather threatens Hunter region

NSW SES have been responding to wild weather across the state this weekend including severe rain, thunderstorms, flooding, and even snow.

More than 100 vehicles were stuck in snow after record breaking snowfall was recorded around Armidale and Guyra in northern NSW. Snow was also seen falling in parts of southeast Queensland.

Meanwhile, in the NSW’s Hunter region, locals are being urged to monitor changing floodwaters. Authorities are still searching for a 27-year-old woman who went missing after being dragged away from her car by a strong floodwaters in Cessnock.
