Mexico cruised to a 2-0 victory against South Africa. South Korea defeated Czechia 2-1.
The Socceroos have insisted that striker Mohamed Touré returned to training today after his absence from yesterday’s session sparked questions over his fitness ahead of their World Cup opener with Türkiye on Sunday.
Today’s session was closed, meaning the media could not confirm Touré’s attendance at training.
However, Socceroos teammates Jacob Italiano and Aziz Behich have both said the striker was at training.
