An airline stunt in South Africa has shocked observers around the world after footage went viral on social media.
Many locals in South Africa have defended the spectacle, which has previously been featured in other sporting events.
The two bespoke-liveried Embraer aircraft flew approximately 15m over a packed DHL Stadium ahead of a rugby union match between South Africa and New Zealand.
Airlink, the airline behind the flyby, said the event was carefully rehearsed and had been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
