New York Post Columnist Miranda Devine details how US President Donald Trump has put a lot of effort into ensuring “cordial relations” with Gulf states like Saudi Arabia.
This comes amid the US-Iran conflict, in which President Trump and Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu coordinated targeted strikes that took the life of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“Donald Trump, since his first term, has really put a lot of effort into having cordial relations with the other Arab nations,” Ms Devine told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“He’s continued to do that, quite unlike his predecessor Joe Biden, who alienated Saudi Arabia almost on day one … he’s worked hard at that, and I think you’re seeing the fruits of those efforts.”
