The winners of ZWO Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2025 have been revealed! Winners in 11 different categories were named; from Our Sun to Aurorae and Skyscapes.
The overall winner? A captivating photo capturing the Andromeda Galaxy in unprecedented detail. The Andromeda Galaxy will reach its highest point in the night sky on 2 October, around midnight local time. Under very dark skies, it’s visible to the naked eye, though binoculars or a telescope make it far easier to spot.
Which one of these is your favourite?
The images are now on display in a dedicated exhibition space at the National Maritime Museum.
