Supermarket workers in Victoria issued body cams to tackle retail crime

Supermarket workers in Victoria have been issued body cameras in an attempt to counteract the state’s high retail crime rate.

Hundreds of Coles and Woolworths staff will also be trained in approaching and handling confrontation.

Woolworths claims it had locked down stores on 45 separate occasions in the first half of this year due to security incidents.
