The longest US government shutdown has ended

The longest US government shutdown on record has ended, with President Donald Trump signing a bill to reopen the federal government after 43 days of closure.

But the White House is also dealing with developments in the Jeffrey Epstein matter, with thousands of pages from Epstein’s estate released by the Democratic Party.

They include the allegation that Trump spent hours with one of Epstein’s victims.
