FDD Iran analyst Janatan Sayeh calls out the Islamic Republic as the largest threat towards the Iranian people.
“The biggest enemy of the Iranian people is the Islamic Republic,” Mr Sayeh told Sky News Digital Presenter James Bolt.
“When they commemorate the Iranian New Year by hanging dissidents, that’s just such a demonstration of clear disdain for Iranian culture and heritage.
“The real demon here is the Islamic Republic, that is one, imposing this war, and two, deliberately positioning different military assets in residential areas and using its population as a human shield.”
