According to the royal biographer Robert Jobson, the 13-year-old George has come to rely on Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mark Tindall.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Jobson said “Watch Zara with George, and there is no deference in it.”
“She teases him. He is easy with her the way children are easy with adults who want nothing from them.”
“Then there is Mike… He talks to him about losing, the one subject nobody else raises.”
Jobson added that Zara and Mike are “Two world champions. Neither [are] remotely impressed by any of it… [They] can undoubtedly help him.”
