The View co-hosts clashed over his multiple controversies, with some contemplating putting them aside to support him, while others believe it is a dealbreaker.
Co-host Sara Haines unleashed on the Democrats, criticising their hypocrisy regarding Platner and his allegations.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah Griffin blasted his mocking of veterans and his track record.
“He also mocked wounded veterans; he has a bunch of homophobic slurs that have emerged online. The track record is really bad,” she said.
View co-host Sunny Hostin showed an alternative view, expressing her support for Platner, despite previously saying she’d “hold” her “nose” if she lived in Maine.
