US Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer is stepping down from her role in the Trump administration.
She is the third cabinet secretary to leave within the past month, following Pam Bondi as Attorney General and Joe Kent as Counterterrorism Centre Director.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung announced the departure on X, praising Chavez-DeRemer for protecting American workers, enacting fair labor practices, and helping Americans gain new skills.
Keith Sonderling will serve as Acting Secretary of Labor following her exit to the private sector.
