An 18-month-old boy survived being struck by an SUV on Princess Road in Balga, with the impact captured on security cameras. The toddler was flung metres down the road before being rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, including grazes and a potential head injury. The male driver in his 30s stopped immediately to help and is cooperating with police.
