US President Donald Trump has torn into NATO allies after accusing Europe of failing to stand with America when it mattered most.
The President said he was “very disappointed” and singled out Britain, France, Germany and Italy for letting the US down.
The comments were made at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey.
Trump said allies refused to back America’s Iran campaign despite Washington investing trillions into the alliance for decades.
The president insisted the US neither wanted nor needed Europe’s military assistance.
