US President Donald Trump has said he is “happy” Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle have left the US to move back to the UK, adding: “I was not a fan.”
“I thought they treated the royal family with great disrespect … If I were the royal family, I would not have taken them back,” he told reporters at the White House.
Trump also singled out Meghan, saying, “I didn’t like the way she acted … I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen and King Charles.”
The Sussexes arrived in the UK last Wednesday for what has been described as an “extended stay” in Britain with their two kids.
