CommSec’s James Gruber says US President Donald Trump “reacted angrily” to the Supreme Court’s decision to rule against his tariffs, vowing to impose a 10 per cent global levy.
“The US Supreme Court on Friday ruled against Trump’s tariffs by a vote of six to three,” Mr Gruber told Sky News Australia.
“Trump reacted angrily; he vowed to impose a 10 per cent global levy which would sidestep those tariffs on Friday US time, but by Saturday he had raised it to 15 per cent.”
