US President Donald Trump has said he will sign the bill to release investigative files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein if Congress passes it.
“I’m all for it,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday AEDT.
“Let anybody look at it. But don’t talk about it too much because honestly, I don’t want it taking away from us. It’s really a Democrat problem.”
The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is expected to vote within days to force the release of the Epstein files, with passage seen as all but guaranteed after Trump dropped his longstanding opposition.
