Trump Threatens ‘Massive Increase’ of Tariffs on Chinese Goods

S President Donald Trump threatened a “massive increase” of tariffs on goods from China, citing recent “hostile” export controls on rare-earth minerals, and said he saw “no reason” to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“I was to meet President Xi in two weeks, at APEC, in South Korea, but now there seems to be no reason to do so,” Trump posted Friday on social media. Bloomberg’s Joe Deaux reports.
