A Las Vegas jury found an ex-gang leader guilty of plotting the drive-by killing of legendary hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, bringing a decades-old cold case to a close.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 63, was charged in Nevada’s Clark County with a single count of murder using a deadly weapon. He had pleaded not guilty.
Shakur’s siblings, Set and Mopreme Shakur, released a statement saying they were “elated” by the verdict and concluded by saying “Tupac’s legacy and impact on the world lives on, and we will continue to do everything we can to keep his spirit alive.”
