A rare sight was spotted off the coast of Italy, as two waterspouts were caught on video merging.
The natural phenomenon forms when winds from two different directions meet, creating a rotating column of air and water mist.
The twin waterspouts were filmed forming off the Po River Delta on Italy’s northeastern coast on Sunday.
The tour operator, who was leading an excursion on the water, stopped to capture the dramatic scene.
