The Gulf conflict has taken a dramatic turn after the United Arab Emirates accused Iran of launching a massive barrage of missiles and drones targeting the country. According to officials in Abu Dhabi, dozens of projectiles were fired toward the Emirates in a single day as air defenses rushed to intercept incoming threats. The UAE called the attack a “flagrant violation” of international law but insisted it does not seek a wider war. At the same time, rumours spread online claiming the Emirates had retaliated with strikes on Iranian targets, a claim strongly denied by top officials.
