The rift between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates is growing deeper, over their allied military campaign against Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi movement.
The UAE now saying it will withdraw all remaining forces from Yemen after Saudi Arabia supported a demand from the Yemeni Presidential Council for them to leave.
With rallies spreading around Iran, its government says it will seek talks with protest leaders.
The demonstrations began in the capital on Sunday over the country’s plummeting currency, but are evolving with demands for political change.
