US-Iran War: Iran Allows Some Ships To Pass Through Hormuz | WION

Escalating attacks on commercial shipping near the Strait of Hormuz have killed three Indian sailors, highlighting the growing danger to global trade routes. One of the victims died after the oil tanker MT MKD Vyom was struck near the coast of Oman, triggering a fire and explosion in the engine room.

Amid the ongoing US-Iran-Israel conflict, Iran has reportedly allowed some vessels to transit the strait even as attacks on merchant ships continue. With 28 Indian vessels currently operating in the Persian Gulf, New Delhi is closely monitoring the situation as one of the world’s most critical oil shipping lanes faces unprecedented security risks.
