Iran launched fresh strikes across multiple countries. Saudi Arabia said it detected three ballistic missiles near Riyadh, intercepting one while the other two fell in uninhabited areas. The kingdom also reported overnight drone attacks and has ordered an Iranian diplomat, along with three others, to leave the country amid rising tensions.
In the United Arab Emirates, authorities confirmed they responded to Iranian drones and missiles. The UAE has also ordered the closure of an Iranian state-linked hospital in Dubai. Officials say the strikes came after Iran warned against any action targeting disputed islands, including Abu Musa and the Greater Tunb, which are controlled by Iran but claimed by the UAE.
Iran also claimed that an Israeli F-15 fighter jet was struck within its airspace. Meanwhile, in Iraq, a series of drone attacks targeted a US diplomatic and logistics centre in Baghdad by pro-Iran armed groups.
Meanwhile, the G7 nations—including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US, and the European Union—called for an “immediate and unconditional” halt to Iran’s attacks.
