The alleged attack remains independently unverified. Meanwhile, a reported meeting between US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu raises questions about Washington’s Iran strategy. President Donald Trump has endorsed Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s parliamentary election. In this Firstpost Live video, we tell you how the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov offers to mediate the conflict. Iran has accused the US and Europe of fuelling global conflicts, while Tehran’s diplomatic dispute with Germany adds another dimension to rising international tensions.
