US strikes on Iranian uranium stockpiles could ‘risk’ potential dirty bomb

Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings says there is a risk of setting off a dirty bomb while attacking uranium stockpiles.

“Part of it is potentially buried after various bombing attacks from earlier, and I suspect that most of it is booby-trapped,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“One of the risks here would be that the Iranians themselves – they think they’re about to lose this – would explode it, and you’d have in effect a dirty nuclear bomb.”
