Vanuatu’s Prime Minister Jotham Napat and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese have signed the Nakamal Agreement.
It comes almost 10 months after Napat pulled out of a planned signing ceremony in Port Vila, citing concerns around sovereignty.
Vanuatu is also negotiating an economic agreement with China, which Napat told the ABC he’d share with Australia once it is signed.
