Venezuelan interim President: country ‘is in active resistance’ | EU rallies in support of Greenland

“Venezuela is in active resistance” – the country’s interim President has told the troubled nation during a televised address. Delcy Rodriguez rejected statements by US President Donald Trump that the US would run the oil-rich country saying quote: “There is no external agent governing Venezuela.”

The White House says it is exploring “a range of options” to annex Greenland and that using the US military is not off the table. The Arctic island and autonomous Danish territory has repeatedly said it does not want to be part of the US.
