At least 90 people have died and 12 remain missing after days of heavy rain in Vietnam led to flooding and landslides.
The mountainous province of Dak Lak has been severely impacted, where tens of thousands of homes were flooded, the environment ministry said in a statement.
Since late October, relentless rainfall has battered the country’s south-central region, triggering multiple rounds of flooding and widespread devastation.
Entire sections of coastal Nha Trang city were inundated last week, while landslides struck highland passes around the Da Lat tourist hub.
