A Western Australian hospital is the first in the country to manufacture a tumor-infiltrating cancer treatment, taking a patient’s natural cancer-fighting cells and giving them a high-tech upgrade.
Once these supercharged cells are multiplied by the millions, they’re infused back into the patient, marking one of the biggest cancer breakthroughs in recent years.
