Wall Street sees markets ‘slump’ overnight

CommSec’s James Gruber has analysed the US share markets on Wall Street which saw a slump overnight.

“The S&P 500 fell one per cent while the Dow slumped 1.7 per cent,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Software services were a culprit; they’re actually down 25 per cent year to date on worries over AI’s impact on the sector as well as that tariff uncertainty.”

Presented by CommSec.
