“We will have affordable energy prices. Our prices will be more affordable than Labor’s,” she said.
The decision to dump a net zero target has led to warnings the Liberal Party is effectively walking away from Australia’s legally binding commitment to the Paris Agreement.
Climate Change Authority chair, Matt Kean, said the “Coalition wants to line up with Russia, with Iran and Trump”.
