President Trump renames Artificial Intelligence to “Super Intelligence” and stresses the importance of winning the AI race against China. Speaking at the U.N. General Assembly, the president says he wants to change the name to “Super Intelligence” or “SI” as he believes that using the word “artificial” makes it sound fake. “It is much better, and it’s more accurate,” he says of his rebranding. Trump also says he’s opposed to any kind of global regulatory framework and compares those drumming up concerns about AI to those who did the same about climate change. “Whoever wins SI, wins.
