The Presidents of China and Russia have been overheard exchanging views on how organ transplants could help humans achieve ‘immortality’.
The unguarded comments came as the two leaders, along with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, walked together to view a military parade in Beijing.
The parade was the culmination of a week long campaign by the Communist Party to project China as the head of a new power bloc in the face of economic uncertainty and tensions with the US.
