Iranian American journalist and political dissident Masih Alinejad addressed Iran’s representative seated at an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting on Thursday.
“You have tried to kill me three times. I have seen my would-be assassin with my own eyes in front of my garden, in my home in Brooklyn,” she said.
In October, two men were sentenced to 25 years in prison for participating in a murder-for-hire plot to kill Alinejad on behalf of the Iranian government, according to the US justice department.
