Sacked Nottingham Forest coach Ange Postecoglou said he’d just found an apartment to live in the English city before he was fired after just 39 days at the club – the second shortest managerial reign in English Premier League history.
The Australian manager was sacked after a 3-0 loss to Chelsea on the weekend, following seven other matches where the team failed to get a win.
Postecoglou was controversially sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in June after winning the Europa League but finishing 17th place in the EPL, just escaping relegation to a lower league.
Nottingham Forest has appointed former Everton manager Sean Dyche as Postecoglou’s replacement.
