Sky News US Analyst Michael Ware sees “a real glimmer of hope for peace” in the Middle East following the White House’s 20-point plan for Gaza.
Hamas has agreed to release all the remaining Israeli hostages but says it wants further negotiations on the plan.
“If the negotiations that begin tomorrow result in the hostages being freed … that in itself is a win,” Mr Ware told Sky News Australia.
“If we just get that and the other 19 points of the plan fall apart, we can still walk away feeling victorious.”
