Clinton’s name appears thousands of times in recently released Department of Justice files, though he maintains he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and states in his opening statement that he would have turned him in had he known. His wife Hillary Clinton was questioned the previous day, frequently deferring questions to her husband.
