Burnham will need a strong team to tackle challenges left by Starmer

Former RMIT director of the European Union Centre Bruce Wilson discusses the challenges Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham will face if he is elected as the next UK Prime Minister.

“He understands the challenge that he has, and I think he is well advanced at putting together a comprehensive team,” Mr Wilson told Sky News Australia.

“Whilst he does have a very strong personal image, he understands very much that he is going to need to pull together a pretty comprehensive group of people.”
