Meghan will be returning to Australia to co-host Junior Masterchef, with royal commentator Sharon Williams telling Yahoo Lifestyle that it’s no surprise the Duchess received the call-up.
“Meghan’s first guest appearance on MasterChef Australia attracted well over the usual episode viewership of around 800,000.”
“Having Meghan return as co-host of the revived Junior MasterChef Australia could be a smart move for Network 10, as love her or hate her, she’s a polarising force that will attract additional attention from audiences who might not usually watch the show.”
But now, Sharon explained, that questions have arisen as to where Meghan will go from here.
“What does her long-term career trajectory look like, and can she establish a lasting presence in entertainment and lifestyle television again after the ups and downs of the past six years?”
It’s currently unknown how long Meghan plans to stay in Australia to film Junior Masterchef, or whether she plans on extending her working holiday to visit other areas of the country.
