In the past, if shoppers were unable to buy a hot chook on the spot, they were given a voucher that entitled them to get a free $12.50 chicken if they came back within seven days.
But now, a Coles spokesperson has confirmed that this offer is no more.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, they said, “To make sure our hot roast chickens are available when customers want them, we’ve made some changes recently to how and when we cook our Hot Roast Chickens, which means improved availability particularly during busy times, such as lunch and dinner.”
