CT Group US Managing Director Larry Grossman spoke on the increasingly competitive landscape shaping the US midterm elections.
“What you have to look at is the 40 to 50 toss-up or competitive races around the country,” Mr Grossman told Sky News host James Morrow.
“In the generic ballots, the Democrats are outpolling the Republicans everywhere you go.
“The most alarming thing for Republicans is, in districts that were plus 15, plus 13 for Trump in the 2024 elections, that’s now a one or two point margin, so suddenly there’s more competitive races.
“There might’ve been plus four or plus five for republicans versus now being just dead heats.
“This is somewhat traditional in our midterm elections.”
