Supreme Court ruling strikes down race-based voting maps

Sky News host James Morrow says a US Supreme Court ruling is set to sharply limit the practice of drawing electoral districts based on race.

“You cannot group people by race to create new constituencies. This is about as un-American as it can get,” Mr Morrow said.

“And, what’s more, this has huge implications for any elections, including this November’s midterms.

“This Supreme Court move is massive, and well overdue. Already the map is changing, and things are going down.”
