At least 55 people have been killed in a major fire engulfing a Hong Kong apartment complex the city’s deadliest blaze in more than 60 years. Almost 280 others are still un-accounted for with firefighters still working to extinguish the flames after 24 hours.
The suspect in the shooting of two National Guardsmen in Washington DC which has left them both in critical condition has been identified as a 29-year-old man from Afghanistan. President Trump has called the shooting an act of terror. He’s ordered the deployment of more National Guard and the re-investigation of Afghan nationals admitted to the US under the Biden administration.
