Victoria’s Premier Jacinta Allan has announced a new Suburban Rail Loop contract while on her five-day trip to China.
She says commuters from suburban areas will no longer have to travel through the city before connecting to other lines.
The diplomatic trip to China has been sold as a major opportunity for investment to fast-track Victorian infrastructure projects.
